Helen has a very different approach to personal training, her aim is to educate you to be able to train yourself in all areas of your life..

With knowledge in many different styles of yoga, pilates, fitness, and nutrition, Helen can help you to gain the right workout and information to suit your individual needs. Also as an experienced healer and currently training as a medium she works very intuitively and can guide you to let go of emotional as well as physical limitations. Helen is experienced in Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga and pre and post natal yoga, as well as Pilates. The sessions are usually an hour long, but this can vary, and are usually held at Helens' home in Maidenhead. Sessions can be held in your own home or at a Private Health Club, with prior arrangement. The charge varies, depending on the length of session and where it is held, but is usually around £50.

All office workers who spend hours slumped over a desk and, even worse, over a computer keyboard will suffer from some form of posture related problem. Hunched, rounded shoulders can cause neck pain and headaches, but just one or two sessions with Helen is all you need to learn some very simple exercises to relieve this tightness. Many postural and lower back problems come from tight hamstrings - Helen can show you some very effective exercises to combat this. A regular personal training session in Pilates will ensure you develop strong core abdominal muscles to support your back and strengthen your posture.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a demanding form of yoga. Private sessions can teach you safe modifications for many of the postures, give you the confidence to attend a talk through class, or help you develop your own self practice.

Helen has a close working relationship with other highly qualified professionals. For a client who has a severe back problem or injury, Helen will often work with an Osteopath, Chiropractor, Physiotherapist or Massage Therapist.
